Dr Geoff Forbes: Medical  practice closed permanently on 15 August 2025 

All patients who had been booked to see Dr Forbes for a consult or procedure in 2025 have been contacted.

If you have not been contacted directly, please contact your GP.

PATIENT CONTINUATION OF CARE
For all ongoing care, including repeat upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopies and other endoscopic procedures, patients of Dr Forbes will need to see another gastroenterologist. This can be facilitated via your GP.

If you require urgent medical attention, please contact your GP or attend your nearest emergency department.

MEDICAL RECORDS
GP practices received copies of all Dr Forbes patient’s correspondence and reports.

Patients of Dr Forbes can request a copy of their records, in the first instance, from their treating general practitioner.
If your GP does not hold your record please contact prior GP's, or those who made medical referral to Dr Forbes. Patients can then provide these to another gastroenterologist or other treating medical practitioner for continued care.

N.B. Due to permanent closure of Forbes Gastroenterology / Dr Forbes medical practice due to his death, former email address is monitored infrequently.
